Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back

Now, the Star Wars movies are just the type of movie that everyone's seen. Or at least, close to everyone... But it had been a while since I'd seen that one... And it's pretty good. I mean, the voices sound funny, and those creatures at the beginning in the snow are super fake looking, oh yeah, and the effects suck, but who cares?? For a movie made in the 80's, it was pretty good. Yess......
Anyway, I think that I should... go now... GO WaTCH STAR WARS!! :D

loco?

Sooo....
I went to a concert last night at the IkeBox. I freaking love it there. Salem has some really good local bands.

Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography

That's such a good book. It's almost better than the series of unfortunate events. I don't care what you think, read it. =]

Glamorizing Teen Pregnancy?? NOT!!!

Juno, the new movie about teen pregnancy, was amazingly good.
Unlike popular rumors, it does not, in any way, glamorize teen pregnancy. It was a sweet story about love, problems, and everyday teen issues.
I went to see it a while ago, and it was so good, it made me cry a bit. =]
It was about a girl named Juno who "accidentally" had sex with one of her closest friends. She thought it would be harmless, but after several gallons of Sunny D and quite a few urine tests, she found that it was anything but harmless. She was pregnant.
She considered abortion, but after finding out that the baby in her stomach had fingernails, she turned to her parents and decided to let a family adopt her baby.
She found the perfect couple and.... Go see the movie.
I loved it, and I'm sure a lot of people would love it, soo....

THANK YOU!! =]

Hmm....

I saw Meet the Spartans the other day, and, to be honest, it sucked.
It was a Snow day, a Monday, and I went to my friend Dana's house. We got bored so we called the movie theater downtown and decided to go see it.
After walking through the cemetery, we made our way downtown, stopping at the bank. We walked inside, sat down, and.... didn't laugh.
Well, we did laugh, but only a few times toward the beginning... After that it sucked.
The movie was a poor shot at making fun of celebrities, 300, and gay people, all in one movie. A VERY poor shot at it. If anyone likes that movie, they are as messed up as one hundred George W. Bushes at the same time (which is more messed up than anything else you can think of).
In a summary, the story would seem about the same as 300; the Spartans are threatened by some evil king, they go to war with just 300 people, and ladida, they win and lose at the same time.
AND, on top of that, there were parts in the previews that weren't in the movie (e.g.: George Bush, Donald Trump, a Spiderman part, and a Britney Spears part).
So, do yourself and everyone else a favor, and DON'T see this movie. Go see some other good movie, like Juno, or something. Just don't torture yourself when it's unnecessary.

Thank you!! =]
